Two Sheets Are Better Than One
Duplexing is the process of gluing (mounting) two sheets of paper to form a single sheet of thick cardstock used for business cards, invitations, etc.
Since each sheet is processed separately before being mounted, duplexing presents many opportunities for creativity such as:
- A foil stamped or de/embossed sheet to a printed sheet so imprint shows only on one side.
- Sheets of different color/texture
- Very thick sheets of paper to produce an extremely heavy-weight sheet/stock
