Edges of Glory
No longer just for the gilded edge of books, edge painting – also known as edging – definitely adds the wow factor to business cards, invitations, notepads and stationery. Edge painting can be done with opaque ink or foil, and thicker paper produces better results. For instance, business cards are often printed front/back on separate sheets of 120# cardstock and then mounted to form a thick edge for painting.
